ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is an institute of national importance, funded by Government of India. This institute is spread over 100 hectares of land on the Surat-Dumas Road. The Institute is established in 1961 in the State of Gujarat as one of the Regional Engineering Colleges, became National Institute of Technology (NIT) on 4th October, 2002. At present, the SVNIT is offering Six UG Programmes, Eighteen PG Programmes and three M.Sc. Five Years Integrated Programmes in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics including doctoral programme in varied branches of science and engineering. In the institute, there is a constant process of up gradation and innovativeness in the academics. Special attention is given to interdisciplinary researches.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Chemistry came into existence in the year 1961-62. The department has 14 dedicated faculty members with a specialization in various areas. The department is running five years integrated MSc including PhD in various disciplines such as green chemistry, catalysis, corrosion, sensors, ion exchange, polymers, organic synthesis, natural products, drugs, dyes, supramolecular chemistry, inorganic chemistry, ionic liquids, surface chemistry, functional materials, biomaterials, nanomaterials, mass spectrometry, microchip and capillary electrophoresis and water treatment.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The two-days international conference on “Molecules to Materials (MTM-2021)” is being organized to bring researchers and experts from academia and industry on a common platform to discuss on theme of the conference. The conference deliberations are being structured to cover the following thrust areas:

Selected papers will be considered for publication in SCI Scopus journal / E-Book and the same will be communicated to corresponding author after the conference.
